A good solution. Keep in mind that at 20” in length, you are adding a major torque load (bending moment)to the receiver mounting mechanism however.
Yup! I had an 85 which I adored, but the rear window misbehaved frequently. Ha ha ha. I’d take it back in a heartbeat if I could.I used to love rolling the window down on my 90's broncos... but I also remember troubleshooting them and replacing the motors a few times.
Unless the trailer is flat you're not getting the swing gate open. I had the same issue with my RZR, although it might have been slightly more open than a bow support would allow.I wish Ford had made the back window roll down into the tailgate like my 78 does. I hooked up my drift boat the other day and the rear door opens about half way before hitting the trailer, but not for enough to open the back window. So you cant access anything from the back. Just a thought! Thanks for letting me rant!![]()
