Hey, welcome to Bronco ownership.
The forum can be extremely helpful, but you will get picked on. It won't be just you, it's everyone, and it's USUALLY in good fun 😆

I hope you enjoy your new ride, and have some awesome adventures. 🤘

If you're colorblind like I am, you can't see the emblem on the flasher switch except under bright light. When I picked up my Bronco I asked the salesman what the blank switch was on the extreme right of the HERO switches. He told me it was the 4 way flashers. Later with better lighting I could see the emblem. The red turns to grey unless lighting is bright enough.

If Ford had used the same color as they did for the other HERO switches there would be no problem. But there's probably a DOT regulation dictating the color for the flasher switch emblem.

It's a common screw up. Companies don't take colorblindness into consideration when they choose colors. Sometimes it affects safety like with the flasher switch.

Another example is black or blue printing on a red background. Red is selected because it signifies danger, but then they blow it by using black or blue printing. Again very difficult to read unless you have perfect color vision. They should use white on red. I could go on, but I won't.

Eight percent of men are colorblind. But I'm willing to bet perfect color vision is one of the qualifications to be a designer.
