No offense, took me a second to even catch on seeing the picture that this wasn't a Black Diamond/Base grille and I'm an HE order. Which AR script did you get? I got the base base in silver and red so, at least for mine, the red will tie with the letters and I'll probably go red with the shackles.

Which dealer did you order from? I'd like to have a second grille to play around with without messing up the white factory one.
I went with the AR Badlands emblem with the black background and the little orange Sasquatch. The Heritage grill comes unpainted, and it was a pain in the ass to have to strip it of the factory primer and then prep it and use adhesive promoter and apply the 2K hot rod black. The AR script with the red background would tie in much better with the red letters...but on the Badlands the little bucking tailgate Bronco is silver and with the side emblems being silver having silver Bronco letters in front made sense. I didn't want red letters and silver letters and orange accents on the interior because I thought it would look like a random color palette. I ended up getting the grille from Flip's dealership with our Bronco 6G discount... But I also had to buy the bracket that goes behind it because it's different on the Badlands from the heritage...and I also had to buy the wind deflector which is also different from the Badlands to the heritage. At the time, flip add the grille in stock, and the bracket came the next day...but I had to get the deflector from a local dealership and it took no less than three attempts that having it shipped because Ford just throws it in a bag and two out of the three were broken.

Interestingly enough the heritage grille is more or less a base grill with the provision for a camera...I would have simply got a base grille way back when but I needed the ability to swap my camera over. My badlands grille is okay, but it looks kind of like a honeycomb...and later I didn't want to have Bronco written all over the sides with script and then I have it also say Bronco on the grille, which is another reason not to buy the base grill because it is set up only for Bronco letters and not Ford letters. I then resisted painting the red letters because of the extra time and effort it would have taken but then after having bought the sticker fab stickers to try and change the color that way it just looked unfinished...

I'm following you, it's all in what you want. The Base/BD grille has 7 slots, HE grille has 6 to match the EB but then the spacing for FORD vice BRONCO. I'd like a spare to have custom painted, right now I'm thinking silver but keep the black bar across the middle, body color around the edge and keep the letters red but try to see if they could do the sides of the letters silver/chrome.

Don't know, too much time to think while I'm waiting! Glad your making progress on yours!

I was hoping for something as retro as possible...and I almost went with one that was available on Amazon but then realized there was way too many related parts including the deflector and the support bracket and how everything has to work together in unison. Using OEM parts in my humble opinion is far superior to the Amazon offerings because although they do make some grilles that look pretty cool, structurally they are just not the same (and they cost nearly as much as an OEM one). I had also heard that fit and finish on some of the aftermarket grilles was not all that great. The RTR grille seemed kind of cool, but I didn't want to add yet another set of lights. I just finished my swing out project as well...
