My cheap solution to moving front camera due to winch/bumper

Anyone on here able to 3D print an enclosure for the camera?

It's on my to do list to model something up in SolidWorks. Now that someone else is actually interested, maybe I'll get my patooty in gear and actually do it. I was going to attach to the 40 series T-slot, but maybe I can do something more universal using the DV8 bracket screws.

I'm pretty good designing in Shapr3D, so let me know if you need some help.

Awesome. I'll have to take is apart to model all the components of the DV8 bracket and a faux camera, but it shouldn't be hard. If you get to it first, drop a parasolid or IGES file my way.

I've been working in SW since '98. I tried some free CAD packages after I retired. I spent a couple of hours struggling with the most basic of commands and tasks. Then said screw it and bought a hobbiest license from Dassault. My patience has not improved with age.

I'd be interested in those files too if you end up with a model of the brackets. I was thinking of just CNCing my own relocation brackets with my desktop CNC.

Dang, I forgot I said I would model those brackets. IMHO, the zip tie exceeds duct tape as the handiest Rube Goldberg tool available. Looks good.
