There is that "up arrow" on your steering wheel- press it a couple of times to get your actual average MPG.
I know. It shows 16.8. I had a jeep and it was a lie o meter, about 3 mile off

So the Bronco lies because your Jeep did, LOL . Give it another 1000+ miles. Mine has been steadily going up.

The meter on the Bronco is not perfect. Mine shows 17.0 but my hand calculate is 16.6 over the last 5000 miles.

I also pull out of work directly onto a 75mph highway, so I have to get on it pretty hard when leaving to merge.
My wife's F-150 shows 6mpg on the display when I merge onto the freeway. It's kind of hilarious watching the 5 minute MPG graph.

Holy smokes! I’ve got the same vehicle, but with the Sasquatch package. Best I get is 17.3 mpg on the highway. I drive in Eco mode unless I’m feeling frisky… Huge bummer the Sasquatch package makes a 7 mpg difference.
On the highway, aerodynamics are the main factor. SAS is a major brick. I am actually thinking of selling my Big Bender non-SAS to get a sprite car that will be better on gas….but I probably won’t. The truck feels so good to pilot.

My FE is sitting at 14.9 for her first 2,500 miles. That’s probably 50/50 highway city. Took a little road trip today ALL highway. 13.1

I'm getting 13.3 L per 100 km
not bad I'm almost getting 600 km a tank.
My jeep got only about 400 km a tank.

Just for fun, I wondered if ECO mode actually helped my mileage on my commute. So, after break in period, I ran for approximately 1500 miles on normal, then 1500 miles on ECO (yes, I pushed that stupid OK button every time I started up). The results?

Normal mode, 1584.8 miles, 18.9 mpg
ECO mode, 1548.4 miles, 18.8 mpg

Some caveats. 2 Door OBX, non-sas with 2.7. Almost 100% commuter miles, my commute being approximately 13 miles each way, in a very suburban to urban environment (mostly stop and go in DC area traffic). MPG not based on actual gas consumption and mileage, but rather using the trip computer. I don't necessarily care about the trip computer's accuracy, but rather its precision, since this was to compare normal to ECO.

Could there be lots of reasons for this? Sure. But even taking a lot of variables into account, I would have assumed ECO would produce better MPG. Oh well. At least I don't have to push that OK button anymore.
What I have found is that when in ECO mode, you have to put in the effort for it to yield better results. You will notice that eco mode really sucks the fun out of the vehicle lol. So the first few times I used it, I found myself actually driving it a little harder to drive like I normally do.

So now when I do eco mode, I ease into the throttle, don't speed, coast as much as possible and use cruise control a ton. I have gotten as high as 25.5 in eco mode. Using the same driving strategy in normal I hover around 22-23.

I have heard a lot of people say it, and its true with the eco boost. You can have Eco or boost but you can't have both lol.

I now have 5,000 miles on my 4door 2.3 manual. Getting 23.5 consistently. 1/3 highway, the rest city and off road. I do not think about how I'm driving or try to drive "gentle." I'm very glad I got this engine/transmission.

I’m still trying to figure out why my 2.3L 4 door badlands non-sas gets the same mileage as my 6.2L Denali XL. Literally the same…..and that’s a push rod V8, non aerodynamic vehicle with the same exact tires….
