Modular Bumper- Base model plastic skid plate

Does anyone know if the plastic skip plate on a base model bronco is compatible with a factory modular bumper, or is a steel skid plate required?

I don't really plan to off road, but a plastic skid plate sounds cheap and worthless

The Steel skid plate is required. Plastic will not fit the modular bumper. (Just switched mine)

Thanks- I found a factory metal plate for $100- just have to drive 150 miles....

I trimmed my plastic skid plate enough to stuff it under the bottom of the modular bumper until I found a steel skid plate to replace it with.

Ford has found a way to ship Base model equipped Bronco's with the Modular front bumper with plastic skids, so they probably fit.

My 23 Base with Mod front bumper came with a plastic skid plate. Window sticker says its supposed to be steel....

I also found out that my Base Bronco with the MOD bumper has plastic bash plates. So where there is a will there is a way (at least for Ford) to put plastic bash plates with the steel bumper!

The plastic skid plate that comes with the stock plastic bumper is different than the plastic skid plate Ford has been switching to on the optional modular bumpers for lower trims. Ford still hasn't updated the window sticker verbiage to reflect the cost-savings measure so buyers still have recourse to file a mis-build ticket with their dealer to get the steel bash plate that is supposed to come with the modular bumper.

BN asked the Bronco Brand manager about this last night.,He said they were aware and would provide info shortly on how to get the proper plate.

Adding mod bumper from a FB Marketplace pickup and don't need to buy the entire steel one right now if the plastic one is available.

I think it's this but I can't tell 100% because the diagram isn't showing the front part of it.

Where are you from? I have a plastic bash plate on my base with mod bumper I will be replacing shortly. It's yours if you want to cover shipping and aren't in a huge rush. I'll likely put on skids in the next month. I'm in Charlotte.

Sorry man I have the modular bumper with plastic skid already.. was looking for the metal skid replacement or something that has more protection.

I'm in Ft Wayne and will have a steel front skid plate coming off a 23 Wildtrak up for grabs as I'm putting on a full set of talion skids. Id let if go for around 140
