I have had issues with Ford Pass, modem, etc from the day I took delivery in July ‘23. It has been in and out of the dealer for over 2 weeks and they still don’t have it working. This last time I had it in to them I told them not to give it back until it’s working (hate having them take the dash apart multiple times). Not sure what I can do about this. Ford reached out to me on this forum but haven’t heard back from the in a couple days. I don’t think the service team knows what they’re doing. Anyone else have this issue or a suggestion on how to get Ford to jump in here.

I’m just going to get some social media or marketing person tell me they are on it. BTW after the second time I took it in I was in The driveway going over some of the features and it worked! However dealer says we should replace it as we can’t get software downloaded; makes sense …WRONG! Put new modem , antennae, and cable in and still can’t get it working. WTF have they been doing for the past week!

Darn, don't know what to tell you if the modem was already replaced. I bought my FE used last December and it said last communication was June of 22. It took about 5 months or so for the dealership to get a new modem, but that fixed my issue.

I agree I can’t imagine what they are doing. It’s no different than the modem in my house

To be fair, FDRS/programming has been down a few days this week or spotty. If all of that stuff has been replaced there's highly likely there's a coding problem on Ford's servers.

Is the bronco completely stock or has anything been changed with Forscan? I ask because there's a thread on our dealer message boards about a fog light issue that engineering, FSE and others were involved with that ended up being a result of a previous owner modifying the fog light intensity via Forscan. Once the changes were made in Forscan and dealer did a reprogram it uploaded the altered data into their servers so every time they did a module replacement and as-built, it kept putting in the bad data. This was not a bronco but wanted to bring it up just in case something was done so you can let the dealer know.

That's not exactly true unless you have cellular internet at your house. Then they'll be similar.

It’s just configuration and settings on their end just like the modem in my house. You obviously have some knowledge of the technology and my point was that this should be a simple fix

Tommorrow is my Bronco’s second full week at the dealer. Service Manager called today telling me the new TCU was delivered But is not the same part as “the as build spec”. Dealership has been on the phone with multiple support folks at Ford with no resolution in site. You cant make this shit up!

On my third week at the dealership. Service Manager tells me the parts they received from Ford do not match the "as built" parts. Looks like my Bronco will be at the dealership for a full three weeks. This to me in inexcusable.
