I think with all the mic top issues , a metal or aluminum top with removable front panels and removable side windows would be a solutions. Ford produced ,not an outside vendor.Just a thought.

That’s why all the first gen Broncos had white metal roofs. They were still quite warm in the South Florida sun. They weren’t very light either! It would be super heavy, and conductive to heat. I would vote no on that.
Aluminum , Ford is on that trend anyway , it works. That’s why all the first gen Broncos had white metal roofs. They were still quite warm in the South Florida sun. They weren’t very light either!
Stainless Steel. Like Tesla Truck. Bulletproof ???????? LOL Or drone proof too. (For Russian Broncos)I think with all the mic top issues , a metal or aluminum top with removable front panels and removable side windows would be a solutions. Ford produced ,not an outside vendor.Just a thought.
A Canadian company does /did was pricey. Challenge with metal even AHSS it need to have reinforcement stamping to eliminate flex which means they need sandwich with top skin. Here's an off the wall idea. What if Ford or a 3rd party made clear panel replacements for the front roof panels? With enough metal frame it could be plenty sturdy and would let natural light in the front.
