I know Ford reads B6G so I have a question for anyone at Ford reading this.

Why am I seeing Bronco’s getting scheduled for production that were not reserved, before Bronco’s that were reserved?

As a reservation holder, I would like to know?

Constraints cannot be the whole answer because Ford is scheduling constrained orders without a reservation.

Dealer stock vehicle builds cannot be the answer because Fords Director of North American Product Communications - Mike Levine tweeted many times that reservations would be build before any stock units.

Allocations cannot be the whole answer because Mike Levine has tweeted many times that reservation time stamp is the most important factor.

So genuinely, I am left wondering. Why?
What is the reason? Has Ford lied to me? Is Ford greedy? Does Ford care more about dealerships than customers?

Or is there a logical reason? Has Ford done this in my best interest? Is Ford honoring their word?

Yet, without an explanation from you all at Ford…how am I to know the answer?

Welcome to the party. There must be dozens, maybe hundreds, of threads that touch in this topic. Complaints have been rampant ever since the new dealer allocation formula was announced in Oct '21. Sorry to say, I doubt that your post will get a response from Ford or have any effect on Ford's choices. Maybe take your complaint to Levine, Farley, and Ford on twitter. Unlikely to change anything there either, but Levine and Ford tweet replies on rare occasions.

If it helps, when you finally get that scheduled date, it's going to feel like your freaking birthday and all the pain goes away.

I dont want to be a buzzkill for you, but I wouldn't count on anyting from Ford until it shows up at the dealership. I'm an early reservation holder, mine was built 6 weeks ago, still waiting for it to ship 3 hours away from the factory. Might as well plan on a few bumps on the way to getting it. You know, keep the expectations low... Save yourself some grief.

Yes, you were lied to and Levine has made it abundantly clear that you don’t matter. The only people who don’t feel like you are the ones that haven’t suffered from their decisions or now have Broncos. They have no explanation for their actions because their actions were done to satisfy dealers.

It's only been answered 10000000 times. Dealer allocation. You might not like the answer but that doesn't matter. If you went to the same dealer as 10000 other buyers 2 years ago and someone goes to one with 20 buyers this year, then they get theirs first. Yeah it sucks but it's not a hard question to answer.

1. The chip and general material shortages have made it very difficult to make the high end Broncos that everyone has been ordering. 2. Dealership allocations, agreements, and laws differ by state and govern a great deal of the Broncos that are manufactured. 3. There are many more orders than production capacity could fulfill even without a pandemic. The reality is that if you go to a dealership that has Bronco allocations and order a vehicle with a soft top and not so many electronics then you’ve got a pretty good shot of getting a Bronco, even without a reservation. Ask me how I know.
