If it's weak ass 3500lbs hitch that's holding up my build, I can live without it. I'm keeping my Chevy 2500 so I won't be moving the pontoon boat around with the bronco. I was only going to use it for a bike rack. I can always just get an over the spare tire rack to carry the bikes.
I had the tow package removed from my order last week and I got scheduled today with a 4 dr Badlands, 2.7, MIC top, High package, Sasquatch. But my reservation is 7/13 night of release about 2 hrs after go live.

Who knows if deleting the tow package worked but I had the same thought. It was a nice to have but not necessary as I really don’t tow the utility trailer often. And I can always add it later on aftermarket or at a dealership.

Made it through the entire thread. Looks like 2 doors are all AB or CG? Anyone have a 2 door get scheduled in any other color?

EDIT: I take it back. Spotted a 2D in OW and A51.
carbonized grey here.

I have the same build but I kept my tow package on and have yet to get an email. Early 7/14 reservation here.

Lots of 4DRs. MIC Tops must be an evil thing.

You know what's odd is I didn't drop tow, didn't swap to soft top, etc but still got pulled. Tells me they're giving whatever consideration they can to timestamps since I'm #1 in line at my dealership. Also, question for group since this is my first venture into this type of vehicle but I wanted brush guard as I planned on using this thing for what it's designed for. It's not listed on my email. I seem to remember my rep saying that those had to be installed post production...that doesn't make sense to me. Anyone?
The brush guard look very easy to install. So having the dealer do it does not sound too strange. I would be fine with installing it myself even. But at that point I may go aftermarket for a fancy one.

I didn't expect an e-mail today, night one res (just a couple sec after midnight their time, 10pm CA time I think) but #41 out of 80 allocations at my dealer and knowing how much money people here have, probably lots of loaded BL and FE in front of me (though I never asked). It'll get here when it gets here, but happy to see so many got scheduled today, that's a good sign!

As for the top questions above, the MIC top is the dark grey plastic top with two panels over driver/passenger and one large panel over the rear seats in the 4 door. The modular (painted) top you can also take the rear side windows out and it might or might not come in white and/or body color next year, but not this year. Soft top is just that, but you don't get wiring and all that for the wiper/washer, something to keep in mind if you ever want to add a hard top. You will be able to add all that, but it'll cost extra.
But the MIC -molded in color - is just that, dark grey plastic, not painted. I have that on order, would never get a painted top myself and would never take those little windows in the rear out.

That's exactly what I ordered (4 door). Got called on today for a 7/26 build, but had a Day 1 res, and was sitting at the #1 spot at the dealer as of last week. Hopefully, you're next up! If theres a similar complex build (loaded sas MIC) in front of you at your dealer, you may need to wait until that one gets pulled.
Good to know someone got my build and is going to enjoy the hell out of it! Waited this long for the new Bronco, what's a few more months. Delay is partially on me anyway, I ordered it the way I wanted it so just have to manage my own expectations on when they can build it. Regardless, it will make for a good story over bourbon and cigars around the campfire with my Bronco in the background---and the other folks wishing they had one.

In this chaotic, Covid stricken, part shortage world that has thrown the Bronco debut into complete disarray, I would like to stop down and take a minute to thank all those who dropped the tow package, switched to a soft top and eliminated any other potential delay items so they could get their builds quicker and in doing so, freed up a bunch of the constrained parts for those of us who stood fast and stayed put.

Y'all are the real MVP's.

Signed, opening night res that got an email with a build week of 7/26.
