Has anyone bought one off this program, Ford has already added the Vault in the arm rest, the mesh top, and storage in the back. They called today saying Ford wants them to add the light bar across the top. I don't want that but not sure if I can say no? I get my Outerbanks edition mid January

I'll say this, around here the program was a waste of resources. None of the dealers here locally will let you even look inside the things as they've already been sold and are just sitting their 6 months.

I wonder how many missed sales the dealers cost themselves with this ignorant shortsighted line of thinking.

Monroe Michigan has a 4 door obx stuffed full of toys and a 2 door wildtrack that is sold and cannot be driven.

The accessories are required by Ford and they will increase the price beyond the window sticker. Then depending on the dealer, there may be additional markup. Some have taken deposits while some have only taken names on a wait list. Keep in mind that many were built in June/July with the 2.7L which has reported problems from dropped valves. The accessories packages are:

Have a 4 Door Big Bend in Race Red 2.3L(soft top/auto trans) down here. Saw it Monday, salesman says it's mine if I want it, but they can't sell it until 1-31. They wanted 10K on an ADM, said they'll do it for $4K over MSRP of $38,900. Has 110 miles on it right now.

I've got no reservation or order as of yet and eventually want a 2 Door Squatch. Fiance and I have a 2022 Wrangler Willys set to get built some time, but who knows if we see that in March or September with everything goign on.

I had no interest in a 4 Door (Wrangler is 4, we've got 2 doggos that need to be accounted for when we travel), but quite honestly that Race Red is an absolute banger in person, and it was silky smooth on the test drive.

I'm not psyched about it being over MSRP, however 43K is around/less than what I was looking at depending on what 2 DoorSquatch build I end up (eventually) ordering.

They've also got a 4 Door Squatched Badlands in Cyber Orange that is an absolute beast, but unfortunately is just too rich for my blood.

The Mannequin at my local dealer gets driven a lot. I've driven it three times.
Supposedly a guy put 5k down on it as soon as showed up.

I guess I was lucky, the dealer I went to knew I didn’t have an order with them yet still slapped a dealer plate on it, told me to have fun and just be back before close
