Have been putting this off for a bit. I have the Baja Designs LP6 for the modular bumper which I would like to keep at least for a bit. Problem is I ordered the spv kit which I could use, not sure if it rattles but sticks forward a bit too much for my liking:

So then I ordered the mini bar with light mount which I do like the "look" but rattles so bad it's more like a strobe light, I'm surprised I haven't had a seizure from them:

Anyone found a solution to mounting pod lights similar to the LP6 size/weight without rattles?

I used the LP6 brackets that came with the lights. For this location, I had to cut the inner side of each bracket to follow the lower valence contour so they could be aimed correctly and not make contact with the paint. Had them installed for over a year with no issues.

Dang OP...you were going through the same thing as me at the same time. So I am a little late to the party. I also have the SPV brackets. I too did not like how far they stuck out. Also, I wanted to add quad set of LP4s instead on on set of PL6s. So here is what I did.

I'm still in the testing phase. I cut the excess from the SPV brackets and drilled holes so I could angle the bars to give me a staggered look to match the bumper. So far the brackets don't rattle nor bounce. Once I am convinced I have everything just right, I will take the brackets off and use them as templates to make new bars and the weld them to the SPV bracket, that way I end up with just the bolts for each LP4.
