1st world issue of the day...

I have the ICON front winch bumper and they were kind enough to provide some tapped holes in the bumper for lights. However, they dropped the ball on providing a good way to mount them. I have settled on @Baja Designs LP6s or LP4s for the lights. Ideally, I would like two on either side of the winch, but the provided holes are located such that I can only mount one per side without coming up with some sort of mounting bracket.

So, here's the question, is there a vendor that provides universal light mounts that could be adapted to work with my setup? I have searched online and unless my Google-fu skills are lacking, I have come up empty. I may have to fab my own, but was hoping to find a good solution off the shelf to save time. I would prefer to not drill/tap another hole, but that might end up the best solution.

Depending on width, you may be able to use the existing hardware in the pic (forward most outer) for LP4/LP6 but may need some washers?

Yes, I agree for a single light. That's probably what I should do, start with one on each side and see if I really need more.

I have a pair of LP6's for both the jeep and bronco and they work great for my forward visibility. On the jeep I have squadron pro's for ditch lights but on the bronco, went with the XL80's for ditch lights. I almost chose the lp4 for ditch lights but didn't want the splash on my hood, nor did I want to put a decal on the side portions so decided on XL80's. All pairs are the driving combo.

Definitely for my use, plenty of light. But it all comes down to what your preference and end goal is. You can check out the video from last Sat, shows the lp6/xl80 front and ditch combo.

Great video - thx! That's definitely enough light. My reason for thinking 2 pair was 1 pr each amber/clear. Are you happy with the amber?

I've always been happy with the amber. I originally ran a different brand on my gladiator with a white light bar, was extremely unhappy with the results as they were the same output as my high beams.

Switched to BD and the LP6 for the JLURD and have been very happy with them since. Same with the bronco now. There a specific trail that we run at night called Nelson Roller Coaster, this is where the money spent will really come in handy.

I would start with a pair and see if you would need more lighting. For a pair of Lp6, you are looking at 22,450 Lumens, and for a pair of Lp4 17,714 Lumens,. In most applications, two lights are enough lighting. We currently have both series in stock and you can also place an order directly. Please feel free to shoot me a PM or email at [email protected] if you wish to place an order or talk about the best lighting setup for your Bronco (y)

Are those not for adding a bull bar?

I think that's what they had in mind, but last I heard from @Dusty at ICON , they will not be offering one. One could be fab'd easily, but I don't think I want the clutter of a bar with lights. the camera is obstructed enough as it is.

This is true. The engineering guys had intended to offer a bolt-on bar. They came up with a couple of design drawings but none of them looked that appealing, IMO, so I'm glad they didn't actually make it to production. Eventually they moved on to other projects.

Switched to my personal account to add that I'm actually going to be upgrading to this bumper on my personal Bronco so I can run a winch (I currently have our non-winch bumper). I'll probably fabricate my own bar for it, so I'm glad the mounting holes are already there. My Bronco is a Base so there's no front camera, but I have a dream of adding one, and cleanly frenching it into the bar itself. None of the camera relocation mounts I've seen so far look very clean.

I recently added 3 LP6 (2 amber and 1 clear) to my bumper and I can't imagine needing more. I also have LP4 as my ditch lights, 2 pair of Squadron Pro and an amber SAE. That being said I may eventually add an upTOP Overland rack and add 5 or 6 LP6 to the roof so what do I know. 🤪
