I think the answer is in your own post. You mentioned that the tire shop “…. later they found one they had and were able to rotate all 5 wheels/tires.”

if you can, bring it back to the same tire shop and ask them to remove the locking Lug nuts. Since they did it before, they should be able to to do it again. Then - Purchase a new set of locking Lug nuts or regular non-locking nuts and put them on. That might be the easiest and cheapest way to get this fixed.

good luck

They were the Ford Locking set that came with the Bronco for Free(along with mudflaps that don’t fit Sasquatch). Didnt realize this Could turn in to a hassle, just thought I could order a replacement. I gotta look and see if I stashed the lug nut package somewhere?
You can order a replacement key from the vendor. You’ll need to know the manufacturer and key number. I had to overnight a key from McGard once and since you’re in no rush this is the best method outside of locating the lost key.

or ask the shop for the ID of the master key.

i recently had to replace my locking lugs on my other vehicle since the tire shop that put new rubber on those wheels got a bit happy with the impact wrench and way overtightened the locking lugs.

they distorted the key and it shattered when i was swapping to my winter wheels.
....

turns out the complete set of vw/audi master lug keys are available on amazon if you can identify it.

If it is McGuard, you email them a picture of the pattern and they will sell you the correct key.

This is one of the reasons I've gotten rid of any lug nuts that require a key. All it takes is a proper size 12 point socket hammered over them to easy remove them. If my wheels are going to be stolen, a security lug nut won't slow anyone down. That's what I have insurance for, and the chances of anyone stealing the wheels off my vehicle is pretty dang slim.

I've also had the key shear off when trying to remove frozen lug nuts. I just don't see any upside to having these type lug nuts.

I got these "Advance Wheel Locks." I park on the street in a Blue city. I'll get getting a rotation done shortly, and will install them then. Pricey --$125 for five + an extra key. The cyillendrical design is supposed to resist vice grips,needle- and 12-point sockets. Each set is milled individually, so thieves can't go around with a set of keys from a parts store.

A thought on anti-theft philosophy. You can't protect everything absolutely. What you want is to make it more difficult, time-consuming, and risky for thieves. The more you increase each of those factors, the more likely thieves will abandon their attempt on what's yours and move on.

Couldn’t agree more. Lost the key for the locking nuts on my M2. BMW has many different lock configurations. Luckily I had the card with the number. Ordered a new one, about $65. :-(. Came home, took the locking lug nuts off, reinstalled regular. IMHO, locking lug nuts are a “feel good” measure as opposed to being genuinely effective.

Check your glovebox for McGuard registration card or id/sn card. Ford should have included that in your owner papers.
I bought a second lug key but i usually take them off and put on stock lug nuts if i take it to dealer. Harder to lose or screw up.
