Loose fastener bouncing around in door....hmmmmm

So, I heard something "fall" inside my driver's side door. A few days later, I noticed a small white plastic clip hanging out from one of the drain holes at the bottom of the door. Anyone have any idea what this clip was holding? Wondering if it's a big issue and if I want to take it to the dealer and let them tear apart my door panel. I'm thinking they may do more damage than it's worth.

I would ask the dealer what it is - they take door panels off all the time - let them fix it if needed -
