Clips in the rear of the soft top which clips it to the corner of the back on the interior broke on both sides. Can’t find part number and I went to the dealer which showed me something but I did not believe it was the right part, especially once he told me it was $260 for one side and over $300 for the other side.
Was looking for help on getting the part number or possibly ordered from somewhere.

thanks

Does anyone know this part number and could help me out? The rear of the softtop can lift with the push of two fingers because both these plastic clips that hold down the entire back broke.

@Ford Motor Company maybe a new revision with the soft top could be making these with metal or stronger plastic?

Ugh this is what I was afraid of happening. I was looking at them and how you have to basically slam it shut. Plastic will only last so long with that. I have just been releasing each lever one at a time to close it gently which is annoying but apparently with good reason. Sorry to see yours actually broke. Were you closing it when they broke? This should be a warranty fix, IMO.

There are a handful of both parts in the depot. Should be covered by warranty unless you know you did something that made them snap. Seems like it might have happened from a latch not adjusted correctly inboard-outboard or the lift section has a lot of up pressure for adjustment and the latches are taking all of the pressure. I've seen one that was really tight and we did an adjustment but really, the top needs to be loosened up (fasteners/latches) and settled to find out where the tension is.

Yep thats why I started being careful. It requires a lil more force to shut, so I just squeeze the lever, push closed, then repeat on other side instead of slamming it. Only takes about 2 seconds longer so it's not that big of a deal for me.
