Will be using my Bronco for off roading for sure. Otherwise I'd be looking much better options if i planned to only be street driven. I go solo to remote areas that need high clearance (will do 37's). While I am not looking for body damage, if it happens, I get it fixed, no big deal. Life is too short to worry about such things. Will not be my DD. I am fine with folks who buy the Bronco and let it be a garage queen and or mall crawler. If it makes them happy, then it makes them happy. Who am I to judge.

Based on the responses here Ford did do the right thing going IFS, even though I'd prefer SFA.

Daily driver, trails, no intention of rock crawling, snow, state parks, lake/mountain house, kayak hauler, adventures with family (daughters loved the mustang i just sold, and i have them saying “Where’s the Bronco?”). It’s going to be expensive, but worth it for the memories.

Nothing wrong with overkill, life is not about living practically, it's about enjoying what you can. I won't turn around and look at a Q5 3x on my way into the grocery store..a bronco...I will.

I'll drive to the bank every morning, the country club every afternoon, and back home every night. On the weekends I'll drive it to the cabin/farm where I'll need 4x4 a few times each year. In the winter I duck hunt daily, so I'll need 4x4 a little more often then, but not much. I have a 4x4 Lariat currently. The Outer Banks is essentially the equivalent of the Lariat. I don't need and probably won't purchase the Sqatch package, but if I can't get 33" tires from the factory on the OBX, I will.

realistically, Mine would see mud and water pretty often. simply from where I live and what I do. 4 years had a 2 year old 70k 250 platinum in about 2.5' of water and mud to go check out a shop during a flood. Had my slightly older 250 in about 3-3.5' of water same day to go check out a more flooded shop

Daily driven: to and from stores, train station, schools and daycare.
Weather: anything the Canadian weather decides. -30c to +40c. Hail, snow, ice, rain, fog, sun, wind, you name it.
Off road: when the kids get a little older (thats when the Bronco will really be used), trails to geocaches, hikes, camping, type of stuff. No risk to the paint i hope. But want to get dirty some day and see how good the truck really is.

Daily driver, getting it to tackle the always challenging I 290, IL 64 and other roads filled with potholes.

For reals tho mine will be daily driver and live 90% of the time on the highway. Would love to get into some light off road stuff and more outdoor activities. Bronco is my gateway to that

I do a fair amount of remote trout fishing in the upper Midwest, in all kinds of weather conditions. Lots of Class D and lower roads, as well as snow, ice, etc. That will be my primary use for the off road capability.

I also will use it to pull my fishing boat, transport firewood and other general tasks I currently do with a 4x4 Silverado.

So yeah, probably a little overkill with the off road capabilities, but it’s better to be over prepared than under, no?:)

Tucson streets are rougher than most off-road trails:) Honestly, 1/2 of the miles will be in-town on our crappy streets and the other half will be on the interstate highway system. My kids might sneak it out onto a trail when my wife's not looking, but there will be hell to pay.
