Hey all,

We are about 6 months into owning our 2024 Bronco and generally loving it so far.

Today, I noticed this thread had popped out of the seat back on the driver's side. The seats are otherwise pristine, so it seems like some sort of manufacturing issue to me. Unfortunately we're about to leave on a 2k mile road trip, but I'm going to do my best to not disturb it along the way. I have also taken several photos that are date/time stamped as well.

Has anyone experienced this issue with the upholstery? Did the dealer cover the repair under warranty? I'm going to try, but wanted to get a feel for what others have dealt with.

They *should*, but is it really worth your time to take it in and deal with their nonsense?

I'd clip it and move on. Not worth all the nonsense required to deal with an imperial outpost.

Normally I would say it's not worth the trouble... However, it needs to go in for a recall anyway, and I'd rather see if they'll fix it under warranty (while it's still under warranty). If it were on any of my older vehicles, I wouldn't worry about it.

mine was a little more serious - but Ford repaired under warranty. My understanding is that the extended warranty does not cover cosmetics like seats, MIC tops, etc

Good to know, thanks. I guess it makes sense to not cover cosmetics with the extended warranty, but I'm hoping this is covered by the original bumper to bumper warranty. We plan to keep it for a long time, so I'd like to keep the upholstery in good shape as we rack up the miles.
