Did Shock Surplus or Accutune indicate they would assist the next owner in any way, e.g., retuning at a discount? I know Accutune has a policy regarding shocks bought there but that doesn’t sound the case on this since they were bought at SS. Thanks, trying to sort out what all else will be needed to make this work on my two door and I did check around online before asking. Thank you.

i never asked, but i can. Personally, I don't think id send them to SS for retune. i felt 10000x more comfortable talking to Accutune, as they actually asked questions on what i was using / weight. They took the time to go over how /why etc. SS just wanted my CC number

I don't think these King's listed by the OP were tuned by Accutune. I understood it as he needed something quick, so he bought new tuned kings directly from Accutune to replace these, as he didn't have time to send these in to get tuned. I could be wrong, but that's how I read the post. In that case, Accutune would have no ties to these Kings in the listing, unless the next owner wants to send them in and pay for a custom tune. This seems like a great deal by the OP and I'm surprised they have not sold yet. If I didn't just have Accutune tune my set of Fox coilovers, I would have totally bought these the day they were listed.

You are correct, accutune has nothing to do with these shocks that are for sale in this post.

My unsolicited 2 cents: Don't ever send shocks to be tuned by shock surplus, specially kings. I have vast experience with kings over the years and although a great shock they get it somewhat wrong with these off the shelf OEM's. Whoever spends their outrageous asking prices will want a custom valving/dampening/spring rate specific for their application. My wife couldn't care less or feel less if I have kings, fox or hitachis but whoever knows their stuff will want to optimize the price on them. So overspending on Kings even if you get them at dealer pricing doesn't make sense if you know you'll have to get at least higher rate springs. Last I checked this was cost prohibiting through Accutune or Carli (which to me is the best tuner for Kings), it's cheaper to just buy them right off them already customized than to send yours. Probably what OP figured too.

Hello, I’m interested if these are still available but I have a few questions please? The shocks are not adjustable other than the threaded bodies for height? I have a 2dr base 2.7 Sasquatch, no overlanding or towing aspirations. How much height could I get out of them and will they be pretty soft? Did you experience too much sag and an undesirable ride with your 4dr overlanding setup? Thanks for your time!

I Sent you a pm

my opinion you should be good. My 4 door with a lot of weight on back needed help - front was always good for me.
