I have a 23 with the base 7 speaker minus the sub setup. I have JL C2 4" in the dash with high pass filters. JL C2 6.5 in the kick panel and in the back in SSV pods. I have the kicker key 200.4 and harness from plug and play kits set up to add a rear sub eventually. I did the forscan changes to help with the rear speakers. I did the DSP learn on the kicker. After all that its way better but the back still is obviously not what it should be.
I did some searches but have not been able to find anyone that tried running the kicker with the fader turned to off. The manual says it should just use one set of inputs and assuming it should default to the fronts. If it doesn't, I would just have to unhook the rear input to the amp. I know I would lose the ability to control fade. It might be a worthwhile trade off to unlock the backs full potential. Curious if anyone has tried this. I think I will open the dash tomorrow flip the dip switch and run the DSP learn again and see what happens.
