That is so true! I have the MoBridge system and I cannot say enough good things about it. But it is an investment, in money and install time.

If you just want to try something different than the OEM, kick panels I have a used set of 6.5" Kicker 51KSC6504 that are just sitting in my garage. They work great and have no holes. You are welcome to have them for free, just cover shipping.
Migo shoot me a pm. I'd love to take those Kickers off your hands!

I used all Hertz speakers for my B&O upgrade. I’m super happy with the way it sounds. Its night and day compared to factory B&O. I installed the Hertz C165L in the pick panel location.

I replaced the kicks with these woofers and am satisfied. I added some sound deadening while it was open.

I have the same speakers for sale, as well as some kicker 4 inch ones if you’re still looking. Got pics with timestamps

Base system is full range with a cutoff at about 50hz. I assume BO system is same if dash speakers are tied to the kick panel like the base system. They probably have a different tune is all. Here is what comes out of base radio to kick panels.

This is interesting. So you can pull a full signal from the kick panels?

Yes. This is from the base. I don’t have a BO to test that. Ford does roll of the lowest bass frequencies to protect woofer. So a DSP restores the rolled off bass.

Yea but what I’m wondering is if your aren’t getting the full range from the speakers for high level input, how does that effect the signal range from DSP as far as summing goes

If you buy a DSP with as many or more inputs than channels of OEM outputs, you can sum inputs to a DSP output. Or you can divide an input to various outputs.
