I just use the homelink buttons.I seriously wonder how some folks make it out of bed in the mornings.
A zip tie will fix your next “problem”.

Currently wearing some dry on the fly version of Duluth cargo shorts.I almost exclusively wear Duluth cargo pants, 10 pockets, so having a couple of key fobs is zero inconvenience.![]()
Mine don’t have those. Guessing that was in the lux package with ACC. I have the package just below that. Had ACC in other vehicles and I’d rather take an ass whippin than have that crap again.I just use the homelink buttons.![]()
In my case, I just don’t press it.How do you guys keep from setting off the panic button when it’s in your pocket?
I have my ACC set to standard as wellMine don’t have those. Guessing that was in the lux package with ACC. I have the package just below that. Had ACC in other vehicles and I’d rather take an ass whippin than have that crap again.
Oddly enough, I got soft with my last vehicle. I would have liked the heated steering wheel. Just not the whole package.
it always happens at the worst times and when it does it’s like I’ve never silenced an alarm before. How do you guys keep from setting off the panic button when it’s in your pocket?
I, too, have mine clipped to a carabiner hooked to a belt loop.
Changed it to a double press of the button with Forscan. How do you guys keep from setting off the panic button when it’s in your pocket?

It just doesn't happen, never has with any of my fobs. How do you guys keep from setting off the panic button when it’s in your pocket?

Except the computer is so baked into everything including the starter. They save 25cents per vehicle getting rid of key slot. If only pushing the start button turned off the auto start/stop.Nice! But what would REALLY make sense would be if Ford made a slot for the key in place of the idiotic start button. And then you rotated the key to start the car! That way, you wouldn’t have to find a separate place to put the key. It seems so logical that it’s hard to believe that no one ever thought of that! Whoever thought of a start button should be sent to Siberia with only a Speedo IMHO. I think the push button start is one of the dumbest ideas ever to make its way into a vehicle.
Good find! That’s certainly a good design as well.I saw this one awhile back, just another idea for those that don't keep their keys in their pockets...

That’s where mine are when I’m not driving. If I leave them on my belt loop they bind up between my “concealed carry” and the seatbelt.cheepo springy d-ring with a normal key ring loop on it with the fob on the key ring...attached to the beltloop with all my other keys...
I will consider it. What material are you thinking?Would you make an option to sell the file? I'd like to print it with my own materials. Just wondering.
