Key FOB clear and Program with Forscan?

Has anyone here used Forscan to wipe and reprogram keys for the Bronco? I got into the pickle of having too many keys, and need to get rid of some so I can program my spare. I've got Forscan extended license and have done the basic changes, like double honk, global window close, etc. I just want to make sure the key thing is reliable and someone else has done it before I attempt it!

Will it allow you to program the key if you have the main key, seems like I vaguely remember doing this on a Lincoln once.

Yes. If you already have 2 valid keys, you can program an additional key without needing any tools.

But.. there’s a maximum amount you can program and you still cannot ever clear the keys without a Ford dealership or locksmith that has access to the required credentials.

There can't be more than four key fobs. If you've programmed four and lost one, the dealer will have to correct the problem, or maybe a locksmith.

Had my Bronco shod the other day. While they were at it I had them program the two spare keys. Now I have a working fully functional spare for me and one for my wife. Reasonable price @ $70 for all four keys.

That's a great deal, out here on the crazy coast the dealership charges $135 to $185 per key, dependent upon if you need it cut too.
