I’m not sure where you’re getting your information on what kinda fun I’m having but I can assure you you’re wrong. You are reading too many threads with people bitching about breaking tie rod ends and thinking that’s what I’m saying.
The only evidence I had was the photo you included in your response to me, which showed a rig stuck in a mud bog. And you're right, I did have you pegged as someone who was afraid to wheel the Bronco because you might break a tie rod. My bad if I understood your OP incorrectly.

Again I’ll say, I’m not really wanting to wad up a 60k bronco when I can do it in a 6k 4Runner. I’m also proposing to run it in ultra4 which means immediately stripping it and wading it up, but I’m almost finished with a 4500 car and can only really drive 1 at a time.
Yeah I thought that (turning it into a 4500 car) was just a joke selection in your poll.

either way I think you have me confused for a lot of guys going camping.
Probably so, but it comes from a good place LOL.

This is cool:

Race car or getting rid of it are kinda the only 2 things that make any sense to me. It’s cool, I like it - I like the 2D a lot more than the 4D - but I don’t think it fills much of a need for me right now.

Na I’m pretty much out of overlanding.
LOL, possibly missing the point, it may be a sarcastic reply.

It matters not if you actually use it for how you rig it, you rig it like the rest of the overlanding poser world does , hi-lift, rooftop tent, all that crap, but then daily drive it to work at Menards... with all the gear attached just so you can flex all the offroady goodness to the Bro-bois at the Bucks sipping their latte's while sitting on bald ass Mudders they can't afford to replace.

Sorry, I might have sidetracked a bit there.

Holy moly,
OP sounds like you just created a thread to complain and then complain about comments about your complaining.
Ooh look I don’t wanna bang up a 60k bronco I’ll bang up a 6k 4Runner but I’m building an ULTRA 4 car and 4 doors are not broncos, I hate camping… hurumph hurumph hurumph.
Just go enjoy your bronco however you like and stop being either bitter or braggadocious with a helping of condescending. Good luck and if you do build an ultra 4 car DM me and I’ll bring you a lunch when your waiting in the contingency line at the hammers.

Cheers

I've put 14,000 miles on my 2dr in seven months. It's been everywhere. Beach, dunes, mountain snow, mud, desert... No damage! I'm trying to keep the mileage on it, down. There's a Lexus LX 470 in my driveway that basically is a grocery store parking lot car, that's not helping me keep the miles down. The Bronco is just too enjoyable to spend time with...
