Honestly I'm with you and I'm a huge Toyota guy myself. We have 3 of them right now. I would choose a new GX every day of the week.

Unfortunately down here in the US where I live there is already a long line for the GX and looks like there will be decent mark up.

GX, Tacoma, and 4Runner will all be great vehicles in their off-road trim. But anyone thinking they’re walking into a TRD Pro at MSRP right off the production line is taking some good drugs!

Most would agree that the 2023 Lexus GX grille is not pleasant to look at but I'm sure proponents of the GX on this thread are referring to the redesigned 2024 model.
The GX is also built on the same platform as the Toyota 4runner which is a very capable off road vehicle. I prefer the Bronco but I also think the 2024 Lexus GX is a much improved design with the bonus of reliability since it will still be built out of the factory in Japan.

They haven’t released the next generation GX pricing correct? Looks good but I have a feeling the price will make you pucker.

The ‘23 pricing was absurd when I was last configuring, the redesign, especially the off-road variant, will require a 30 year mortgage!

Not alone, I think it will compete against the Suburban's and Lincoln's in the school parking lot, during PTA meetings.

Let's not forget the Raptors too. I am assuming that the largest obstacle most Raptors will see during their service life are the speed bumps in the school parking lot.
