I just wasn’t expecting her to stop. If you watch the hood carefully you can see me brake early, then let off, then when I realized she wasn’t moving fast enough I brake again. But it was too late.

Is that the drag link or tie rod hanging out under the front?
Texted my buddy who builds jeeps, he says it’s a sector rod shaft. Not good i assume

That's a bummer @Nickp :( Glad to hear you are ok. (y)

That would be the shaft that comes out of your steering gear box where the pitman arm connects the drag link to the gear box. Looks like the pitman is still attached to the linkage in the pic.

Won't have that problem in you Bronc, it has a rack not gear box.

Glad to hear you’re okay, everything else can be replaced. Steel bumper going forward, maybe a snow plow too.
Snow plow in Phoenix ????
