Feel silly for asking, but haven't been able to find anything online. I'm looking to jump another car using my 2.3L Bronco but am not entirely sure where/how I should be attaching the positive end?

Am I supposed to try and clamp onto the green arrows below? If yes, is there a specific type of jumper cable I should use for the positive?

Yes.
And no, there isn’t a special cable. Unfortunately it’s just difficult to grab onto it because the way it was designed.

I had to jump start a car last week. I just clamped onto the 1/2 nut on each post

There is a U-Tube video of how to jump start a vehicle when your vehicle has a battery management system. Find it!

Engineers aren't the brightest since they never consider real use. That said on the red (+) follow the end of your arrow to the bolt on the other side of the terminal and just clamp the cables to that. I've done this to successfully jump batteries mutiple times.
