July 2020 Reservation Question

Here is my question: what happens to your order that is a 2021 “order confirmed” but has had no movement on it since when it was created? I’ve had no updates from @Ford about this, nor have I gotten anything from the dealer as to when this will ever actually get a build date. What should I do? I thought I placed an order but it says they will reach out to me?

This looks like a reservation that has never been converted to an order. Where are you seeing order confirmed?

Use the backdoor tracker. Enter your reservation number after the = sign. See what it says.

if you never contacted the dealer after the reservation was created, it most likely is still a reservation or worse deleted.

Dealer probably stuck you in 99 status.

So you placed an order for a 2021 and the just disappeared? Hopefully you survived the MY22 rollover and the dealer didn't cancel your order. If not, you were probably 99'd for all of last year. The worst thing you can do is wait for Ford or your dealer to contact you and tell you what's next. You need to be a bit more proactive.

I apologize. I believed that after I bought my order to them, customized it to my liking, I thought they placed it. Apparently I’m needing to tell them to do it? Below it says they will reach out to me with the next steps but never have.

Yes, I do have a Braptor on allocation. I was able to secure it with my current dealer. I originally was on a list at another dealer but they played a lot of games with the process so I just took my name off their list and that’s how I ended up with my current Braptor.

This order is entirely different. This was an reservation back in July 2020. I still have it just because. I’m thinking I’ll keep it in the family but haven’t done anything about it because of course, I’m all in on the Warthog. I hope that clarifies this lol

And while yes I am familiar with the process because of my Allocation, I’m wondering why this particular order just sat there unconverted when I built it and thought it was stuck in a status because it’s a Lux/ MIC hardtop combo.

Looks like it was never converted to an order. Dealer may have placed an order without tying it to the reservation.

If it's unconverted, you have until 21 November to convert it or Ford will cancel it.

You have to tell your salesperson to convert your reservation to an order. They cannot assume that you want to order a Bronco just because you placed a reservation.
