Reservation Query : 07/14/2020

I had reserved a WildTrak on July 14th and wanted help from experts on the forum with my below query:

I would like to wait for the White hard top so that I can take the delivery of the truck factory installed. Can I just wait till it is available so that when Order Banks open I can just sit out for this part to be available. Will my reservation date still be honored? Or I would have to cancel the existing reservation and make a new one?

While it’s not a direct answer to your question, I really don’t think it will be hard to get a bronco on a lot by the time the white tops are available, so it might not matter.

From what I hear, if you order something that is "late availability" your order will go into the queue in roughly the same order as when you reservation once the option is available...

To this point, I can't order because White top is not listed in Build & Price.

Build and price is not the final say, I consider it a guide. If you are buying a 4 door, Squatch, with the 2.7 the packages, they all include the automatic. Not paying for it 3 times. Just an example. No one knows what will be included in the dealer's build and price....

To this point, I can't order because White top is not listed in Build & Price.

The dealer will know how to handle this at the time you place your order. You'll be put in the wait list as mentioned earlier.

Double check with dealer but I believe the Modular Black Hard Top is late availability. I believe there was a release stating White Top is going to be MY2022. You may have to cancel current reso and make another but I could also be mistaken.

Pretty certain only the black modular is late availability. you can't order a white hard top until 2022. Just go with the soft top and buy the white hard top later when it's available, thats my plan anyway.

Here in Seattle, it rains a lot and I would be nearing Winter time by the time I take delivery of the truck. Soft top wouldn't withstand rain on a daily basis while driving. My Community parking is also open parking.

I'm in Vancouver, BC, it's just as rainy here, if not more so. Soft top shouldn't have any issues with the rain, I'd be more worried about cold than rain, and we don't get any real cold. Remember you should only have to go one winter with it, and then you'll have a soft top for the summer. Or you can delay getting you truck by a year, your call.
