Hello from the Inland Empire of Southern California..

I've been a long-time Jeeper with 2012 JKU "NotARubicon" and a 2006 TJ/LJ - both pretty well equipped for rock crawling. About a year ago a Jeeping friend's wife purchased a Bronco and brought it along Jeeping with us and i was fairly impressed with how it kept up.. She has since upgraded to 37" tires and a lift and now it keeps up with the big-boys even better.. I then made the mistake of letting my wife ride with her in the Bronco.. and .. now I find myself with a new 2025 Outer Banks that my wife will use as her daily driver and to occasionally take on mild/easy trails and dirt roads.. I will also use it for driving around town as its way more comfortable than my Jeep(s)..

I've made a few Jeeping videos on Youtube so some of you may recognize me - but fear not, the Jeeps aren't going anywhere.. For a while at least.

My ride before my Bronco was a 2012 Rubicon 2 dr 6MT. Loved it, only reason I got rid of it was due to engine failure at 105k miles.

One thing I love about Wranglers and Broncos is they are unabashedly American icons. There is nothing else like them! And they are awesome for their design brief.

Oh, the engine in my JKU failed (and i replaced it) last year at 130k miles.. Can't get rid of it now for at least another 10 years!

Welcome to owning a Bronco! I too, have learned a thing or two from your GMRS videos.

I have a BAdSquatch with 37" tires & the JKS max tire kit (no lift) and feel confident tackling tough stuff.

I've not owned a Jeep but I find my Bronco to not be very comfortable, so hearing that a Bronco is more comfortable than a Jeep has me wondering how uncomfortable Jeeps are. Long road trips in my Bronco often have my sciatica bothering me, less so after raising the front of my seats a bit, but still bothersome.

Hi Randy, I haven't run into any sad hams in here. You're welcome. Please keep the trolling at full blast.

Welcome & congrats on the Bronco. I have a pair of Jeeps as well (2016 JKU & 2005 TJ) and I don’t understand why there is such animosity between the brands. I guess it a loyalty thing but when I came to the dark side of Bronco, I haven’t looked back at adding another Jeep to the stable. I do have a Scout reservation and I am looking forward to how that pans out…

I'm waiting for the sad hams to post stupid comments. I still refer back to your videos when dicking around with the "boofwang"/gmrs Welcome!
