All,

I've looked on this site, YouTube and the interweb and can't find a solution for flexible flapthat a non-skilled person like myself can install. Rokbloks seem to be the best option but I'd like something a bit more cost effective. I only want front flaps on a WT without rails etc..

Any advice?

I hear ya; I've seen as much as $449 for either front or rears, and that's insane! I've got a build date now (was 9/26) of 10/17, but living on dirt/gravel roads, the first thing I'll want is mudflaps, and I've got the rock rails, which seems to limit my choices. Why can't someone make reasonably priced mudflaps that don't require "engineering" to install?

Have you looked at Rekgen? These are the standard length and fit with or without steps. Mine were $175 for the pair, but I don’t see the standard length on their site anymore….just the XL’s for $233. Install was super easy.

If you mean “flexible” like the old school rubber flaps, then no. They’re made of a stiff plastic that does have some give/flex to it, but they’re not flexible like the rubber variety.

I did a ton of research on this, and Rekgen was best for me. I’d recommend the XL Trophy Series. I started with the standard length, but they didn’t do the job, so I learned the hard way and had to go with the XL length. XL’s have been perfect though. I did the fronts only.

Unfortunately I don't think you will find a set of cheap mudflaps that bend, are easily removable, and are as easy to put on as the Rokblokz. I just have the fronts installed as well and they work like they are suppose to.

Everyone is too good for Yosemite Sam mud flaps these days and their wallet suffers for it. I mean, I am too, but we're not talking about me. 😁

I agree. I did the standard length because I don’t like the looks of the XL’s but I have the factory steps and just needed to cover the gap between the steps and the fender flares. If I didn’t have steps I’d bite the bullet on appearance and go with the XL’s.

Everyone wants to protect their paint and could care less about the windshields of the people behind them.

Same people will complain when a rock cracks their windshield.

o_O:rolleyes::unsure:

What the hell happened to people
