I must have got lucky. I have factory rack as well and when I put it on, didn't notice any change. I'm also a guy that will tear out a dash to chase down a rattle. I'm an acoustician as well so very sensitive to any unwanted noise.

2025 Raptor painted top. In comparison to my F450 Limited it’s loud, compared to Jeep Grand Cherokee, a little louder but mainly more of a wind noisy hiss similar to having 1 window slightly cracked open, not overall loud. We can talk easily, but radio does need a little more volume even with the VSS Rear Speakers. Compared to Wrangler, I’d lean to quieter in Bronco.

I did remove full top on a 35F day and reinstalled (wired up LED grip handles) and it had a definite louder hiss, sound leakage. Next day in 40’s, took it back off and rubbed “nextzett Gummi Pflege Rubber Care Stick” on the rubber seals and that greatly lowered the wind hiss. That product does a great job at helping with sealing and slightly enlarge the rubber.

I’ve communicated with Hotheadliners and they have no product yet for the Bronco Painted roofs. They are planning to develop a painted roof version soon in both normal material and suede. They currently don’t have a timeline for Painted roof.

Never been in a MIC Bronc so no comparison to offer.

Along the line of the top leakage… wind hiss.
Has anyone examined or tried the Ft J-Clamp adjustment? It looks to be on an adjustable thread… anyone try to give it an extra 1/4 to 1/2 turn to pull ft corner down a little tighter?

Too cold here to experiment yet… not even sure if it’s adjustable… but looks to have room to adjust.

I thought coming from a F250 the difference would be more. It really isn’t. The legroom is slightly more restrictive and the noise level is a little more. We’ve also had too many jeeps to count and comparing the last Jeep Rubicon we had to our Bronco Badland we find the seating is more comfortable and the noise level much better.

We purposely stayed away from the Broncos when they first came out due to the reported noise level. Our 2025 Badlands (which we were fortunate to get right off the lot) has a SAS option, larger 35 tires and sound barrier roof and windshield. We’ve taken 2-trips from Tucson to Moab now traveling at normal highway speeds and can truthfully say we are impressed with the noise level. Traveling highway speeds we were able to carry on a normal conversation without the need of raising our voice.

Our Bronco is slightly louder than the cab of the F250 (which we were expecting) and much quieter than of jeep (we insulated the top). My wife is very noise sensitive and she loves it.

We’re so impressed with the overall quality of the Bronco that we’ve ordered a BRaptor.

Arguing subjective subjects is always entertaining.... 🤠

If you are not DD'ing your Bronco, I don't see why it even matters. The top should be off most of the time anyway. 😎

Gummi Pflege Rubber Care Stick = magic potion 🤣

I use it on EVERY rubber seal there is and have been doing so for 15 years.

I had a 2023 4dr Badlands with the MIC top. I thought it was surprisingly loud. I now have a 25 2dr Stroppe. I think it’s surprisingly quiet.

I have a 22 wildtrak softtop, I installed a alien sunscreen and placed 4" memory foam between the roof and screen, totally helped out tons especially at 80mph, and a lot warmer in the winter, spring time just roll it up, and pull the top off. It really isn't a very big piece of foam.

We've had two 2-Doors (both MID package BL's), '22 MIC and now a '25 painted. Both had the Ford "sound deadening" headliner.

The '25 is orders of magnitude quieter inside. With the '22 you could not carry on a conversation or listen to a Podcast at freeway speeds. It's no problem at all to have a conversation in the '25.

Much, much more pleasant experience on the interstate. They both had/ have the same BestTop Sunrider, I moved it from the '22 to the '25.

I don't know if it's solely due to the top or the other sound deadening stuff that Ford did.

It's OK...we just want our voices heard.

Now, let's turn our attention to a less controversial topic: Favorite motor oil.

I would look at the painted HT instead of the MIC. The MIC still has it's issues. But regarding the noise level, the painted HT utilizes SMC instead of the thermoplastic resin of the MIC. The painted HT also has different headliner than what your MY'22 MIC had. There is also aftermarket support from HotHead Headliners. They were relatively slow to adapt their product to the Bronco when it was launched.
I put in the Hothead on my MIC 4dr top and its SIGNIFICANTLY quieter. They recently came out with a liner for the Besttop too. Ill be ordering that in about a week myself.

I have a 2 door badlands on order. Right now, I drive a Ram 1500 Laramie. Used an app on my phone to measure dB between my ram and a couple different Broncos. At highway speed, actual dB was almost identical. (72-73 dB)

I thought the pitch of the noise was different. Deep growl of a Hemi vs. wind whistle.
