Installed Diode Dynamics SS3 ditch light kit today...

No lights. no backlight or main with switch…which is why i tried a new ground. Well I can disconnect backlight and see if main will work..
yeah I bought the harness to do the backlight because I would not attempt to ‘patch’ into the headlight, and it is working on my fog lights. Didn’t want it on a switch.

Do the lights work if you go straight to the battery?

I put them in a switch order of 'friendly' to 'obnoxious' to oncoming drivers.

And now for the reverse lights...

No, no lights at all.
i bought the harness for the headlight because I wasn’t going to bust into that, and it works for other lights.
i can disconnect the backlights to see what that does, nut seems so odd to not work.

they worked when on the relay so I would say yes to whether they work off the battery.
