"In Production" since 5/15?

Is it typical for orders to stay in the "In Production" state for multiple months? Mine entered production on 5/15 and has had no update since, starting to lose hope that it will ever get delivered...

It's a stock Heritage Edition, no special customizations or anything. Will I ever get my car??

No, it's not typical for the In Production state to be that long, most people's order are only in that state for a week or two at most, unless there is a Quality control hold or parts issue. Did you reach out to Contact Us | Ford® Customer Service, Help & Live Chat | Ford.com to see if they can provide more detail?

I did and they gave me some boilerplate status updates and recommended I talk to the dealer (who, in turn, recommends I talk to Ford...). Very frustrating experience all around.

I'm sorry to see that, Ford chat support seems to have degraded a lot these past few years; they use to share the rail car info when I wanted to track the rail shipment and apparently, they don't do that these days.

There were a few of us on here that had production dates in May that stayed in production for 4 -6 weeks. My Badlands 2.7 Sasquatch went into production on 5/13 and wasn’t completed as built until 6/19, very happy to have it now

OP our heritage sat in production for 5 months. it came to the dealer with 300+km on it. I'm guessing it was QA/QC however we were never told what the delay was. It's almost a year old with only a few minor issues that I haven't spoken to the dealer about

Mine was in production for the month of June because of the QA hold they had going on but I did just received it yesterday finally.

Thanks guys, I ended up canceling this order and finding an almost identical model on the lot at a dealership nearby. Bit more expensive but we pick it up today!
