Been waiting on a set of Diode Dynamics pod lights (combo) to ship and it's been a month. I know they are behind in production but at some point I think I'd rather spend my money elsewhere with a company that has supply figured out and can keep up on the production side.

I'd gone with the SS3 Pro combos, so looking for something that throw at least as much candela and have a really solid near beam pattern which IMO is more important to me than the "driving" end of the combo beam pattern. I'm fine spending $100 more but I really don't want to spend $600+ on pod lights.

I know the Morimotos four bangers are bright but I've heard the throw on the near side of things in their combo beam isn't as good as the Diode Dynamics.

I think the Baja Designs get too expensive for something of similar power to the SS3 Pros but correct me if I'm wrong. Anyone else I should look at?

We just received inventory in today of Diode Dynamics lights. Did you have an order in with us? it might have shipped from us then if you did. If not, well then who knows when it would ship.

Baja Designs are very popular. They are VERY high quality and you can't really beat their quality at all. A bit on the pricier side BUT you REALLY get what you pay for.

Their Pro may not be as bright as the Diode Dynamics Pro on paper but it's a helluva light.

The 4Bangers are not as popular however they DO throw a lot of light. I have a set on our demo F150 truck. Especially the HXB ones.

We have Baja Designs and Morimoto available for immediate shipping. We have LIMITED Diode Dynamics stock (as of today, we're sold out on SS3 Pro, we shipped whatever came in to customers that had orders with us). We are expecting MORE SS3 Pro, as we did not receive our entire allotment.

Baja Designs Kit: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-a-pillar-kit-for-2021-ford-bronco-w-kr-off-road-brackets/

Morimoto Kit: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/morimoto-4banger-led-a-pillar-system-for-2021-ford-bronco/

Each kit includes whatever harness you need (switch or upfitter)

It was in fact through y'all. Did you have enough to satisfy all the orders? If not, I may go with something else. They were being shipped out to San Antonio if that helps narrow it down. I did not get a ship notification if you send that out.

If I went Morimoto, it'd be the HBX series, definitely. I think you mentioned those tend to get really hot.

On the Baja designs, are you referring to the Squadron Pro?

How bout the KC Flex Era 4's?

if you want to share your order # I can look.

The Morimoto DO get hot. Not such a bad thing on A-Pillars or metal bumpers. I'd question it on plastic bumpers though.

We sell all kinds of Baja Designs. Squadron Pros are about the same size as Diode Dynamics SS3. i ran XL80 from Baja Designs on our Bronco which were 9500 lumen each. Those were insane.

KC Flex have been sold, not AS popular as Baja or Diode but they are great. The Gravity are really cool if you like that bigger look. We sell KC also and have some kits.

One thing that struck me about the KC's is the fact you can switch covers and thus light pattern along with color. I like the fact they have an amber back light like the DD's as well. Their on paper specs are higher than the Morimoto 4-bangers and the Baja Designs in a similar price range. But you're out of those as well?

The XL80's look insane from a specification standpoint but really more than I want to spend by a good amount! I have a roof-mounted light bar (Rigid midnight series spot) which is insanely bright. I laugh out loud like a crazed madman whenever I hit that toggle switch. It's stupid bright. Can't imagine how some of the high dollar ginormous light bars look.

Just reach out to me tomorrow (or I can reach out to you) and we can discuss more privately.

Morimoto Baja designs and diode dynamics also allow you to change the lenses for a new pattern - we stock and sell the lenses

Baja Morimoto and kc are all available for immediate shipment

Just throwing this out there but when I shopped lighting I actually ended up going with Heretic lighting. I got exactly the configuration I was after (amber fog, white driving, white distance) and added ditch lights as well. The light output was amazing.

They make a fine light the only thing I don't like is that they do not use wire plugs. They have screw terminals on the back of the light that you have to screw the wire onto. That terminal is exposed to the elements. VERY odd design. Not sure why they leave a bare terminal exposed to the elements, especially a WIRE being exposed to the elements like that.

There are 2 orders ahead of you still (whom are also waiting on SS3 Pro White lights). We did not receive all of our SS3 Pro White lights that we had ordered, only a partial shipment. But when we get our next shipment (hopefully soon) yours should go out.

IMO use a beam pattern that’s usable without being a hazard to other drivers that you can enjoy your expensive lights every time you drive at night and not just when you’re off-roading. I had some diode dynamics lights but switched to XHB Morimoto 2 banger and 4 banger pods because their wide beam is superior to most other companies out there on the market. I chose amber and they are super bright well worth the expensive price tag I think. They look even brighter in person compared to how this video makes them look. They get hot but nothing extreme. They are high output they’re gonna heat up.

I did consider this and thanks for that video. I also have lights in the bumper (fog and upgraded driving light) that I can use on the road.

I've read the DD's are better for spread than Morimoto which is why I went with them initially. The KC's seem to be even better still in that department so I'm really leaning towards them despite the fact they don't have a lifetime warranty on the electronics.
