Idle Sounds (Weird?)

Hello,

I picked up my Ford Bronco BadLand Sasquatch 2.7L about 6 weeks ago. Absolutely love everything about this baby except the idle sounds. I took this back to Ford dealer on the 2nd day of my ownership. Brand new with less than 100 miles. Dealer said there is nothing they can do since nothing is broken and still operating normal. However they submitted my complaint to Ford Hotline. 3 weeks later. They said Ford have acknowledged that they are small cases so far with this idle noise complaint and currently has no fix to it (!!??). This sounds kind of dumb to me. Any comments or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Valve noise to me. Mine are loud on the 2.3. No engine covers too quiet them on stock engine. Also no hood mat. I just turn the radio up

Mine taps a little bit that sounds loud to me (unless it’s just your phone picking up noise). Open the hood, maybe they threw a Cummins in there

First part sounds a little loud for injectors. Middle idle part sounds about right for injectors. End part where you shut it off and restarted doesn’t sound right at all. Sounds like a idler pulleyish to me without knowing where the sound is coming from.

I added engine cover and hood insulation to my 2.3. Still sounds like a '73 Pinto.

I've never noticed it on mine. I'll check when I get home from work but I've rarely left it idling with me outside of it.

I could be totally off base here, but it SOUNDS like the tiniest exhaust leak to me. When you shut off the motor at the end of the video, theres that last little POOF at the end .. It kind of reminds me of the 5.4 triton manifold gasket leaks of the past.

Yes sir. Let me know when you get a chance. I did the Bronco Rodeo here in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago and I didn't hear it as loud as mine And yes I did went under each one of them to check it out

That is what I thought in the beginning too. The dealer check it out and they said it's not leaking. Also I don't smell anything in the cabin while driving either or when I'm under it. But hey, maybe this is a good excuse to the get the new exhaust install
