I FINALLY GOT MY BRONCO

Hello Detroit Bronco buyer here and I just wanted to introduce Ecclesiastes aka Ivy to the group. Shes a 2022 OBY with 30k miles that I got for 35k and had 1 previous owner. This is my first nice car. Before this I had a 2000 Buick century and I’ve been saving for 1.5 years so I finally hav it!!!!

What routine maintenance should I be looking forward to do? And what mods do you guys suggest??

"OBY" sounds almost like "OBGyn". We abbreviate Outer Banks as OBX. Now that's out of the way,.......first get yourself some wheels (stock OBX wheels are UGLY, ...almost like that girl you dated in the high school). After that, you should lift it up a little. Then buy some trinkets off Amazon for the interior and post the pictures here. In the meantime, grow a THICK skin, don't take every reply to your post too seriously, never speed in Arkansas, and never wave to other Broncos (you SHOULD wave to Raptors, because they are a royalty, and they expect it.....they don't wave back BTW).

If you need more advice, I am sure you'll get plenty.

Lol i definitely meant to put OBX idk where the Y came from and thanks for the advice. I have two questions for you since I think you have a OBY to. How much does it take you to fill up and how long does that last and secondly can I see a few pics of your OBX?

Well,...I DO own a white OBX with SAS and the works. I DO NOT have anything to do with OBY, and I never saw the OBGyn in person, although I did escort some unfortunate souls up to the entrance.

There is one small problem,.......I don't own a cell phone, nor I own a digicam. I hate "smart" phones, and the digicams are, well.....relics of the past century. So, I can't show you the picture of "mine", although you showed EVERYONE the picture of "yours".

ASFA gas,.....well I pump Premium in all of my vehicles (I have many), and I never let them run lower than 1/4 tank. How long does it last? I have no idea, but my OBX (driven in "sport" exclusively) shows 18.2MPG, if that helps you in any way. I drive OBX only for fun (when I feel like it), and the wife will drive it come snow season. I drive FJ Cruiser in the snow.

However, I live in the area with no cell signal. I am paying for something I can't use. When I get to the area that has "service", I get bombarded with texts, stupid "screen shots", and offers to buy the shit I don't need. Dead of the winter (and this time of the year with blazing heat) I spend a fair amount of time indoors, where I have the old-fashioned landline. IF I want to pick up when someone is trying to reach me, I do, otherwise, "leave me a message, maybe I'll call" (no records on the wall though).

Few months back, we had a family dinner at my place. My daughter (30YO) with husband was texting while seated at the table. I (politely mind you) asked her to put that thing away, and she did put it in her lap until it chimed again (new text I guess came in). She promptly proceeded to text back while trying to eat the steak at the same time. I took the phone out of her hand and threw it out of the window (luckily the window was open). Dining room is on the second floor of the main house, rocks below. Phone was gone (some Apple shit). They were over here for dinner three weeks later. There were no cell phones in sight.

You guys may hate me for saying this. I like the wheels I would just get better looking tires and a lift

Nah, no hate, but good luck finding a good deal on tires that fit 18" rims with that offset. Your choices are limited. You are much better off with a 17" rim with an offset around +30.

Wheels are just such a personal taste thing, but I am sure that you will find something that works for you.

Stock Badlands rims are 17's and look similar, but I think the offset is +55. I have a spare set in my garage. You can normally find them for $300-500 for a set of 5.
