Hypothetical - what if Ford announced the bronco was FREE. Would you take 2 or just 1?

Can we stop with the stupid ass post?

Why?

What if was simply rephrased to:
"You go to a local dealer and see if they have a Base Automatic 2-Door in one of two colors with Sasquatch. It is discounted to $33K. Knowing that it might be months to get your exact configuration, do you take this the deal?"

This is literally what happens on dealer lots every single day. It is actually rare to order a Vehicle. It is much more common to take a "deal" on what they have on the lot. Rufus's poll is pretty much that.

It is actually an excellent question that shows us how much we value an exact configuration v. price/timing. For most vehicles, "getting a deal" NOW (v. an exact configuration and waiting), would be worth it for the majority of vehicle shoppers. The data shows that.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and bet that you reserved a 2 door

For those of us who would never get a 2 dr, this is an easy "no" lol, on the lot or not.
If this poll asked if I'd get a basesquatch 4dr then my answer would still be no, but I'd at least think about it

Truthfully I'm a little too spoiled by the creature comforts that should be standard in all 2021 model year vehicles, for me to settle with what base offers

...that other than First Editions, all current reservation orders would be limited to 2 door Base Sasquatches in either shadow black or oxford white, 10 speed AT, with MGV black interior and washout floors and HD Modular bumper, and the standard equipment package. Current MSRP pricing for this package is $36,600, but for inconvenience purposes, they will be discounting it to $33,000.

By doing this they can guarantee that all builds will be completed by August 31, 2021.

Are you in, or are you out?

If you are out, you can wait and order a MY22 with the current B&P options, but you won't be able to take delivery until September 2023.

I look at this as the modern take on Henry Ford's 'You can have it in any color as long as it's black' and one model only. Which...kinda neat to think about.

That said, I'd be out.

Fair. Some people would never consider a 2-door Mustang, so they made a 4-door... The Porsche 4-door outsells the 2-door, so I guess you are in the majority. For me a Bronco is in my mind as having 2-doors. Just like a Mustang is 2-doors.

When they announced the Bronco last summer with the cyber orange 2dr and the cut out doors, I was all ?
But then I looked to my left at my fiance and realized im gonna be a family man and a 2 door might be selfish

If I were living the bachelor life, it'd be 2 door and bright colors all the way!

Hiding the dust/dirt was exactly what I was thinking with the White color. I want AMB... but it will always be "covered" in something, I fear.
The AMB is a really nice color! I love dark metallic colors but I already have my Ranger so this is going to be a fun desert off roading toy. Even though I love to detail my vehicles it will be nice to have one that I don't have to obsess over. I still will but not as much. lol

Throw the 2.7 in it and I'd take a white one to wrap like a Stroppe EB.
