How to set primary phone in Sync

My bronco always connected to my girlfriends phone if she joined me in the car… it was aggravating. Not 100% sure yet but it appears that the bronco puts all connected phones in alphabetical order and defaults to the first one. I recently renamed my iphone to get it up top and it now seems to connect to my phone every time.

Mine is the opposite. My phone appears before my partner's in the list, but the Bronco always connects to hers. I wound up just deleting her phone from the bronco for now.

What a stupid bug.

Yes, @Ford Motor Company could buy their infotainment systems from Volkswagen Automotive Group. The six year old Alltrack we replaced with our Bronco had a far better system, and our current ‘19 GTI’s is better yet. Ford Synch is a giant turd stinking up an otherwise good vehicle.

I totally believe it's alphabetical. My wife has a Pixel 6. I have a Pixel 7. It connects to hers no matter what....

After reading all the responses I think we're screwed guys, it's obvious the Bronco likes our wives better
