I have a 4-door Big Bend, 2.7, Mid package on order (Oct 2021). I am thinking of changing my order to a 2.3 Manual (better mpg plus I prefer driving a stick), and Standard Pkg (fewer chips). How would I make this change--contact the dealer? Does it impact my place in line? Any downsides (besides possible price change since October, but it will still be thousands cheaper than my original build)?

If you change from MID package to STND package, you will get hit with the recent MY22.5 price hike, unless you have the OG price protection from a reservation as far as I know.

Changing is as simple as emailing/calling your salesman.

Just contact your dealer with the changes you want and they should be able to get it changed for you. No impact to place in line. Switching to a 2.3 will probably help your case to getting one earlier as well as the 2.7 is more of a constraint commodity wise then the 2.3 is.

No price protection for Oct orders, I ordered 10/25 and just changed my order as well. Went through the price protection too and it doesn't matter if you change or not you have to pay more $$$$.
