So there’s been much complaining on the site about the delay in production but it also seems that most respondents have almost zero skin n the game. Thoughts? Seems to me that while nobody wants to be exposed to the dealer on a TBD vehicle, at the same time we have little to no skin in the game.

Dealer initially stated $500 but when I placed my order they bumped it up to $1k refundable. Had the deposit been non-refundable I would have switched dealers or walked.

I’m negotiating my deposit amount this Friday and want to be armed with good information. Trying to see what the “highs” and “lows” are and guesstimate an average amount. Thanks for your help!
