The license plate light on my rear bumper is cracked. I have the replacement, but I don’t see a way to take off the old one. Anyone know how to remove it?

It has a tab on one end and clip on the other that hold it place. Has a plug. Should be able to pop it off with a small screwdriver.

Better search again cause that has nothing to do with his question. He was asking how to replace the license plate light.

I watched a video of the light being replaced on an f150 and its light had a little slot that you could put a screwdriver in to pop it up. Unfortunately the bronco light doesn’t have that slot.

- Using a non-marring tool, release the tabs and position the license plate lamp out.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the license plate lamp.
|
|
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
