The license plate light on my rear bumper is cracked. I have the replacement, but I don’t see a way to take off the old one. Anyone know how to remove it?

It has a tab on one end and clip on the other that hold it place. Has a plug. Should be able to pop it off with a small screwdriver.

From a quick google search ...

Just the first part is all you need to swap.

Better search again cause that has nothing to do with his question. He was asking how to replace the license plate light.

I watched a video of the light being replaced on an f150 and its light had a little slot that you could put a screwdriver in to pop it up. Unfortunately the bronco light doesn’t have that slot.

Is that a special bulb or does someone have a part number? The dealership wants $60 to replace. Seems kind of steep.

Thank you
