Bought a used 22 badlands. Should there be insulation under the hood? Mine has none.

This is correct. The hood insulation is part of the "additional sound deadening" included in the High package.

None on my badlands, mid package.
Ordered an aluminized one hoping it’s more mouse resistant. Plus I use the block heater so hopefully it will retain a little more heat in the winter.

Same here. 5 minute install. Not noticeably quieter, but improves the appearance and prevents dirt and grime from getting in that complicated honeycomb structure.

My Lux Badlands has the carpet style. It's a dirt magnet and very hard to clean. Looking for a aluminum style soon.

We all bought a brick on wheels, I personally like hearing the intake and turbo. I see lots of posts about this and the tops. Turn the music up and you don’t hear anything. If you want a quite vehicle May I suggest a ev that doesn’t have removable doors and top?

There are multiples. Just search bronco hood insulation, different price points exist.

Does anyone know if these hood insulators help stiffen the hood? Mine oil cans up and down after 70 mph
