Short rant incoming...

What I'm about to say, is not directed towards you, @RIDE , but more towards the ones that laugh or make fun of my bumper...., completely silly of yall....
Think you’re good here. Don’t believe there’s been any criticism anywhere. This threads about winch bumper ideas and having recently seen and been impressed by yours I shared. I think you’ll find most folks here to be supportive even if something doesn’t appeal to their tastes. Apologies if I stepped a bound by submitting your idea instead of you but sharing is kind of what the forum is all about. All good.

Noooooo, I even said my rant was not directed towards you, LOL! That one guy laughed at the pic you posted, that's what pissed me off! I'm just the type of person that cannot understand why people get so upset for something someone else did to their vehicles.... People used to be better than this years ago, everyone's just become so soft and sensitive and it pisses me off sometimes! Especially when I just woke up, from a very rough 8 hours of offroading the day before ;)

Eh, not sure I’d take a laugh reaction from here as hard as you are. And really, IMO anyone personalizing their rigs is mostly putting themselves out there that some will agree with and others may not, but it’s fine both ways. It’s what makes your rig yours. You getting a full day of hard use in yesterday only proves your point of that bumper working in your playground.

Mods are all personal preference and to each their own. Winch bumpers on Broncos are a tough call as the front end isn’t a Jeep and easy to slap a winch on.

There are a lot of good looking and functional bumpers out there. It was a battle researching all these to find the one I like. I chose the CBI bumper- I had been eye-balling it for some time, but a member here sold his Bronco and it was a good opportunity To pick it up a couple hours from home- costly shipping!

I actually would have preferred the bumper with the lower bar and not pre-runner style, but I’m happy with the opportunity.

I think the approach angle is good and it doesn’t look like it’s sticking out too far.

I was actually just looking at the SRQ today. I like that its not to in your face as you say like the SF. I would like to see some pics with it on a stock type Bronco and not on 37s and up. I think it looks great on the bigger tires and lifted just wondering if too much in a shorter build
Did you end up getting a new bumper? I’m looking at the SRQ and the Stinkyfab as well.

Howdy,

Checking back in on this post. Any updates? I was considering an hidden winch but now I am against it, mainly because you can’t see the winch line, the spool lever you have to reach in to grab, and replacing a line would be a pain. My ATV has a hidden winch and it’s a big pain whenever I have winched.

Something high and tight would be ideal. Now that Warn and ARB offer compact winches you don’t have to worry about your camera being blocked by a high and tight setup.
