I understand all that. It’s still odd Ford created a membership program and pretend it’s not ran by them and then charge people for information about a vehicle of all things. I know we get it in the end but it’s still very weird to me. Maybe I’m naive but I can’t recall a single manufacturer that has anything like this for any other product.

I think you’re probably right about this. That was the intent and it was to connect with fans. That monthly fee though, I just don’t get that.
