I think (without any knowledge or info) the white top will be available on some upper trims.
You probably have something there, it may boil down to a select few trims just to further differentiate the lineup more. Kind of like the Marine Vinyl. With that said, I would vote for a white top option across the board. I would even vote for white, black, or molded carbonized gray as the only 3 options to make it easy.

Y’all think we’ll get a white top option for 2021? I’m going to be fairly upset if not. Love that look.

I'm holding out for that option. Living on the surface of the sun for 7 months of the year, the white top is a necessity instead of a giant black heat sink. If it is a late 2021 option or even 2022, I'll wait. I'm a bit contrarian in that despite going to the beach frequently and living in Florida, I loathe basking in the sun. I haven't even opened the shade cover on my moonroof in over 13 years.

From the “Ride Along Q and A” thread:
Q. Will there be a white or silver grille/fender/hardtop options?
A. More to come closer to launch. Currently the grilles, fenders, and tops listed on the website are the only options. That may change.

So, mayyyyybe for a white top.
I’m still hopeful Ford is still just holding out on announcing a “white appearance package” that also gets you the white roll bar and dash as seen in the reveal Bronco.
