I'm more confused now about the Advanced 4x4 than before.

Every model up to Outer Banks shows it as optional, without restrictions, other than, "Not with 7M" except the Black Diamond.

But the Sasquatch package doesn't list the A4x4 as part of that package, or as a mandatory option for Sasquatch either.

Are we going to be able to get the A4x4 as a stand alone option on the Base and Big Bend, or not?
Advanced 4x4 is only an option on Black Diamond and higher, the lower trims will only get the advanced 4x4 by equipping the Sasquatch package.

Yeah.
I would have liked them to have changed their minds. It was implied they might during the "we're listening" campaign.

Bad news for those wanting the Mid Package with their manual transmission on trims below Badlands. The preliminary B&P Dealer Reference guide specifically states the Badlands is the only trim where the 7 speed manual transmission can be paired with the Mid Package.

So I guess that answers whether it was a B&P error or not.

Here's the link to the guide:

this looks to be cribbed together using the broken B&P by the unpaid ford interns. it has the same exact issues and contradictions as the B&P.

Good lord. Every time I turn around there is some new wrinkle from Ford. They could have gotten a Big Bend plus mid out of me, now it’ll be a manual basesquatch. Just dumb on Ford’s part.

I wouldn't be here at all if Ford didn't offer the Bronco with a manual. I'm going with the Big Bend 4 door and adding rear locker, sig lights and mic top. I want some of the features in the mid package but I'll pass to get the manual. This will be my wife's daily driver and our trip vehicle. My wife said yes to the manual transmission but no to the off-road focused Badlands. I'm content with that.

Well I guess I'm not the only one bummed about this. My biggest draw to the mid package is the Intelligent Access. I was debating BL and mid/high/lux, (manual trans is a must), but I really can't justify it for the couple of fancy stuff I 'want'. I'll now be going with BB or BD with the keypad - a great alternative to Intelligent Access. Ford actually saved me some money by doing that! Though I have a feeling more people will option up instead of down, but ah well I enjoy voicing my very tiny opinion haha.

Why the hell do they hate manual transmissions so much?? You can’t have it with the big motor. You can’t have it with the mid package. It’s probably made in China. WTF.
Then they’re like, “The reason we don’t make a manual is because no one buys them.”
They really love their dumb 10 speed.

EPA loves their 10 speed too... that and the fact its shared, so costs are shared with chevy which means their profit is higher.

UPDATE: Just saw Mike Levine replied on Twitter the manual transmission is not available with the Mid Package on the Black Diamond. He stated "streamlined customer choices matched to transmissions". Correlating this with other information, this confirms it's not available with the MT on any trim other than Badlands.

Not really. It's available with the cheaper models and packages.
Not if you want a base four-door. Then you're forced to pony up another $2k and step into Big Bend. Despite, y'know, it being available on base 2-doors.
Confirmed that this is NOT a B&P bug.
