I was looking to get these rock lights and as you can see they have a black wire to ground, a red to power, and a kill switch. MY question is should I:

A. Run the red to the aux switch, and keep the kill switch just on under the hood.
B. Run the red to the battery, cut the kill switch off and run that wire to the Aux.
C. Tell me I don't know what I'm doing and give a better solution.

Red to the corresponding aux switch wire under the hood, black to ground.

Cut the wires coming out of the wireless module (eliminates the switch that comes with the harness). Then as said above, red to aux wire of your choosing and black to ground.

But then how would you operate the cool rainbow colors?

They are in the wireless module. I said to cut the wires after the module, not before. Sorry if I wasn’t clear before, here is a visual with squiggly line where to cut

I don't think you want to cut anything without testing the circuits. An don't see a reason to cut out the switch at all. If it's out of the way it won't be accidentally clicked.

It’s just a switch loop. Wiring 101

I dont think that ground runs from the box. I guess the real question is if I leave the master switch on all the time it wont drain my battery because the aux will ostensibly act as the power cut correct?

Correct if u hook that switch to another switch (aux) it won’t draw power unless both switches are on

You're going to need to show your work. :)
Honestly , and truly not knocking anyone, but it’s easy to overthink some very very basic things. Literally all that extra switch is doing is making a connection between 2 wires. If u keep the oringinal switch in the mix and hook to aux, now you have 2 connections to be made, take it out and it’s one connection (when you flip the aux switch on). I have a drawer full of old relays and switches that I took out of the wiring harness because both my bronco and Wrangler have fused relay switches built in
