HELP NEEDED - Spare Brake Light only illuminates when in accessory mod

Took this issue to Truck & Hitch here is Austin Tx and they mentioned it is most likely a voltage problem causing both lights to shut off as a result. I do want to say @StickerFab has been great during this process as well. Thank you everyone for your input and advice too!

I do wonder if any recent changes have been made via OTA updates. My Broncos' batteries seems to die faster than most vehicles. Never have disabled auto start stop because I'm pretty sure the ECU doesn't think my battery can handle it.

I'm going to send a return label, but feel free to check if just the ring will light up without the OEM brake lamp. Just curious.
