sure hope you have a real use for the off-road capability though, else that's a lot of money to spend for play acting on pavement.
he has PLENTY of places to off-road close to home. I wish I had a quarter as many.

So long story short I’m a reservation holder from 5/21…. Seems like it’s been forever but not as bad as most. I have a cyber orange, 2.7, lux, mic, MGV squatched badlands on order and have seen no movement on it, dealer won’t even tell me how far back the line I am.

I had another dealer friend contact me today and said he had an reservation holder drop out and has a Cactus grey, 2.7, lux, mic, leather, tow, squatched badlands he can sell me for 5k over msrp of 63k.

am I crazy for wanting to drive to my dealer for this right now?

did I mention tow?
I wouldn't do it just on the fact that they want to charge the ADM. These dealers can take their ADMs and shove it up their asses. Plus, its not exactly what you want, one thing I've learned you want to get exactly what you want or you won't be happy. But that's your choice

I totally get this. The guy is one of my clients and friends and I don’t begrudge the 5k adm because it’s a business. He is a small dealer in small town. I feel very comfortable buying from him. I think I’m pulling the trigger boys.
Sounds like a good move to me. You could have more than $5K worth of fun before your order even gets pulled.

OP, my order date was 10/19/21, and I took delivery last week—unannounced, no emails, nothing. So yes, you can go the alt. route and pay more, but your order could come in at any point.

Mind you, when I say “no emails”, I wasn’t even given a vin…. I just got a call last Monday saying, “Your Bronco is here!”

I actually thought it was a misunderstanding.

People that are willing to pay ADM for instant gratification are a huge part of the problem with this launch.
It’s hardly instant…..it appears he’s been waiting for a year and still has no idea whether he’s going wait another year or longer.
I view the ADMs as a good thing when it comes to the Bronco. It means if someone wants to jump the line, they are going to have to pay for the privilege. And if people are will ing to pay an ADM it means the vehicle value for those of us with Broncos is increasing or at least holding strong. I mean would anyone with a bronco or special order be happy if someone could walk in to a dealership and pay $5k under MSRP? That would be a bad sign that our broncos are a rapidly depreciating and undesirable asset.

Why would you pay more than MSRP....especially when you are "settling" for something that wasn't what you really wanted. $68k is a LOT of money to pay for something you might regret a few weeks, months, or years down the road. Just my two cents.

$68k+ taxes, licensing and fees probably gets you to $75k. Will it be worth near that, used, in a year? Good chance no, but with inflation crazy, maybe! What’s the enjoyment worth to you?

Unless there has been some change, we used to be able to just call Ford and have them move the reservation. The original dealer would refund your hundred dollars. But since you've ordered, you're in a different place. And I don't know about moving orders.
